Catherine is a physiotherapist with a special interest in facial palsy. Catherine has had advanced and highly specific international training in facial physiotherapy. Catherine completed training in facial neuromuscular retraining on a course created by pioneers of this therapy, Susan Rankin and Jackie Diels. Catherine provides an evidence based and international standard of care to those with facial paralysis. Combining this with her expertise in neuro-vestibular physiotherapy, she provides an integrated and holistic approach. Catherine is a member of the Facial Therapy Specialists International group and the lead physiotherapist for the Facial Palsy Multidisciplinary Clinic based in Hutt Hospital, Wellington.
